Cookie policy

Updated 8 October 2026

This policy applies to the Crowdechain website. The linked products have their own websites and privacy policies. We use no advertising pixels on this site.

Necessary browser storage

The first-party cookie_consent cookie records your analytics choice, policy version and decision time for one year. It uses SameSite=Lax and Secure on HTTPS. The NEXT_LOCALE session cookie remembers the selected website language. Neither is an advertising identifier.

Form verification

The enquiry form uses signed, single-use verification tokens held in page memory. They expire after two hours and are not saved as cookies or local storage. A hidden field, request limits and checks of submitted content help prevent spam. If a Turnstile challenge is configured, its verification is required to submit.

Cookieless Umami analytics

We use self-hosted Umami on our European infrastructure to count visits, page views and predefined actions. The tracker sets no analytics cookie or persistent browser identifier. Reports can include browser, device, approximate country and referrer origin. URL queries and fragments are removed. Names, emails, phone numbers, company names and enquiry text are never sent to Umami.

Your privacy choices

Cookieless measurement starts on production visits unless you have disabled it or your browser sends Do Not Track. Allow analytics, Disable analytics and Privacy settings are available in the notice. The footer reopens settings at any time. Disabling stops future measurement in this browser; it does not erase visits already recorded. Local development and the private design preview are not tracked.

Storage and report retention

Your preference cookie expires after one year, or earlier if you delete it. Umami reports are held in our reporting system until we remove them; their retention is separate from the preference cookie. Removing the cookie also removes the remembered choice and shows the notice again.

Contact details

Crowdechain uses your name, email, optional company and phone, and message to handle and reply to your enquiry through our existing VINC forms service. These details are not analytics data and are not saved in browser storage. Only provide information needed to discuss your project.
